MotifPilot is designed for drafting editable MIDI ideas on iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what the app handles, what the website does, and how to contact us.

Up to 20 projects and 30 export records are part of the on-device app workflow.
The product posture is a paid App Store download, not data monetization.
MIDI files move through the iOS share sheet to the destination you choose.
MotifPilot is built around on-device MIDI drafting. We do not sell your data, do not use advertising SDKs, and do not operate a user account or project-sync service. You decide when to export or share MIDI files.
MotifPilot helps producers create chord, bass, arp, and melody starters from musical controls such as genre, mood, key, tempo, bar count, complexity, humanize, and swing. The app stores up to 20 projects, generated notes, up to 30 export records, chord selections, and editing state as part of the local app experience on your device.
The app may process the following information so it can generate, preview, edit, vary, and export MIDI material:
This information is used to provide the app's music workflow. It is not used for advertising, resale, or third-party tracking.
This Cloudflare website serves public product pages, FAQ, RSS, machine-readable summaries, and lightweight health/configuration endpoints. Contact and support links open email. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, and any attachments.
Cloudflare may process basic request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver and protect the website. We do not use that request data to build an advertising profile or connect it to projects stored inside the app.
MotifPilot does not use ad networks or third-party analytics SDKs in the current product. We rely on Apple platform services for App Store distribution and paid-download payment processing. Apple may process App Store, purchase, diagnostic, or device-related information under Apple's own policies. Borealbit does not receive your payment card details.
MotifPilot's core MIDI drafting workflow does not need microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or location access. If a future version requests a new permission, that permission should be explained in the app and reflected in this policy before the feature is released.
Sharing is user-initiated. When you export MIDI through the iOS share sheet, the exported file is controlled by the destination you choose, such as Files, AirDrop, a DAW, cloud storage, email, or another app. Review the privacy practices of those destinations before sending files there.
The app retains up to 20 projects and 30 export records locally; older local records can be replaced as new ones are saved. You can also delete them through the app, remove the app, or clear the related device data. Exported copies are controlled by the place where you save or send them. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, and protect the service.
MotifPilot is intended for music makers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through advertising or tracking systems.
You can avoid sending us personal information by not emailing support and by keeping exports on your own device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Contact us if you want to make a privacy request.
We may update this policy as MotifPilot changes. If the app adds accounts, sync, analytics, payments, or server-side music features, this policy should be updated before those features are exposed.
